The long story:
I’m going to start serializing my novel here on this substack starting September 30th. In fact, the first nine chapters will be free. Everyone will be able to read a new chapter every Tuesday and Thursday until the middle of November. After that, I hope you’ll be hooked.
My previous serial, Petrolea, was complete before I began showing it to you. This time, though, I’m doing the final edits on Wealthgiver as I serialize it. This is a bit more exciting for me, and it means that I’ll be changing things based on reader feedback. So that’s more exciting for you.
Wealthgiver will continue until July 2025, at which point I’ll make the complete novel available for purchase. Until then, only my paid subscribers and patrons will be able to read it or effect its writing. And then I’ll have some new stories ready for you.
If you choose to continue with a free subscription, you will still get my newsletters once a month. In fact, you’ll get them a week earlier than before. My newsletters will be free here and on my Patreon, immediately available to anyone. Since newsletters and stories will be posted on my primary Substack, I’ve changed its name from “Adventures in English” (which only makes sense if it’s about the events of my real life) to “Dapper Zmey” (which doesn’t make sense at all).
Paid subscribers, meanwhile, will get Wealthgiver, the next serial novels, short stories, and access to my Substack chat and my Discord server. All for $3 a month.
